Anzali Lagoon ;-)

Anzali Lagoon is one of the main attractions of a portal city in north of Iran called Bandare-Anzali. This city is one of the tourist attraction centers of North Iran and in addition it is my grandmother's hometown. I have some old shots from different places in Anzali which you can see by clicking here. Enjoy the shots from beautiful Anzali Lagoon :

Druing winter and fall the lagoon can expand to 120 square kilometer and during summer it is usually around 80 square kilometer.

Anzali lagoon is registered as an international heritage and is a temporarry station for birds to move southwards from Sybria.

Anzali lagoon is a one of the main places for Kutum fish to lay eggs.
